FILON FR Self-extinguishing translucent sheets

FILON FR  is a self-extinguishing opaque fiberglass sheet with very high fire resistance.

Obtains an external ignition classification according to EN 13501-5:

B Roof (t1) (t2) (t3) (t4)

Thanks to this feature, FILON FR sheet can be installed, as skylight, adjacent to photovoltaic panels, allowing to increase the Photovoltaic cladding surfaces of industrial roofs to increase the energy production.

Load capacity and chemical agents resistance

FILON FR has veri high load capacity. These sheets are able to withstand high snow loads. FILON FR series skylights also provide high light transmittance (approx. 83%).

Hail resistance

FILON FR has very high resistance to hail. Thanks to its feature of thermosetting material and furthermore thanks to the glass fiber reinforcement, FILON FR benefits from unrivaled impact resistance, especially when compared with other non-reinforced thermoplastic products, that over time, they losing elasticity and they become particularly vulnerable to hail.

FILON FR sheets are available in more than 500 different profile, both corugated and ribbed.

Labeling

FILON FR sheets get provided by Declaration of Performance (DoP) and related CE labeling.
